Orgeni Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 5, 2026
Summary
Orgeni stores your workspace data on your device and can sync that data through Apple's iCloud services when iCloud is available. Croy Labs does not run its own account system, advertising system, analytics service, or developer-operated workspace backend for Orgeni.
Data stored by the app
Orgeni stores information you create or configure in the app, including:
- tasks, subtasks, projects, routines, recipes, meal plans, shopping items, and calendar events
- completion history, start times, due dates, reminder settings, and workspace preferences
- app settings such as theme choices, notification category toggles, quick snooze presets, and disclosure state
- widget snapshots, Live Activity state, and local notification scheduling metadata needed to operate those features
This data is used to provide Orgeni's planning, scheduling, reminder, widget, Live Activity, import, export, and customization features.
iCloud sync
Orgeni uses Apple's CloudKit and SwiftData services to sync your workspace data between your signed-in Apple devices. Sync data is associated with your Apple ID through Apple infrastructure. Croy Labs does not provide a separate Orgeni account and does not operate a server for reading or managing your workspace data.
You can manage iCloud availability and app access in the iOS Settings app.
Calendar access
Calendar access is optional. If you grant calendar permission, Orgeni uses EventKit on your device to show external calendar context and to create, update, export, or clean up Orgeni-managed calendar events that you request. Calendar data is not sent to a Croy Labs server.
You can change calendar permission at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Notifications, widgets, and Live Activities
Orgeni schedules local notifications on your device for start-time reminders you enable. Widgets and Live Activities use app-group storage on your device so iOS can display current planning context outside the app. These features do not send workspace data to a Croy Labs server.
Import and export
Orgeni can export your workspace to a JSON file and import compatible JSON files at your request. You control where exported files are saved or shared.
Information the app does not collect for Croy Labs
Orgeni does not:
- create developer-operated user accounts
- use third-party analytics SDKs
- show ads or use advertising SDKs
- sell or share personal information for advertising
- collect payment card numbers or App Store billing credentials
- access photos, camera, microphone, contacts, or location
Data sharing
Orgeni uses Apple platform services for iCloud sync, calendar access, notifications, widgets, Live Activities, crash handling, and App Store distribution. The information Apple receives is governed by Apple's policies and your Apple ID, iCloud, device, and App Store settings.
Croy Labs may receive information you choose to send directly, such as support email content or an exported file you intentionally attach to a support request.
Your choices
- Use Settings in Orgeni to export data or clear all app data.
- Use iOS Settings to manage calendar, notification, and iCloud access.
- Delete the app to remove local app data from the device.
- Contact Croy Labs if you sent support information and want it deleted from support records.
Children's privacy
Orgeni is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated service.
Security
Orgeni relies on Apple platform protections for local storage, iCloud sync, calendar access, widgets, Live Activities, and notifications. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but the app is designed to avoid developer-operated collection and keep data handling within Apple platform services unless you choose to contact support or export/share data yourself.
